Today is the wedding anniversary of my good friends Brendan and Anjuli (Happy Anniversary!) and I remembered this song by Charles Aznavour. I researched youtube and found this wonderful video of him singing it live. In my opinion the man is a genius, the songwriting and the performance are just stunning. Performers of this quality are so rare to come by these days and need to be treasured for their great talents. Charles is now 89 years of age and would you believe it...still performing.
I can't believe that I missed his show at The Royal Albert Hall in October just gone, what a shame! Folks in Holland, he has two shows coming up in Amsterdam.....are you tempted? praise to Charles Aznavour, and I hope you all enjoy this song and video....that's all folks xxx
